Flock Diagnostics is run by Josh Hatkin, DVM, Ph.D. Dr. Hatkin was awarded his
DVM from the Univ of GA, College of Veterinary Medicine. He earned his Ph.D. at Auburn University studying poultry parasitology
and poultry immunology.
Dr Hatkin has over twenty years experience with the poultry industry, ornamental poultry, hobbyists, zoological
parks and game bird producers in CA, GA, MD and MS.
Dr. Hatkin is board certified by the American College of Poultry Veterinarians.

http://www.aphis.usda.gov/vs/npip/ This is the website to the National Poultry Improvement Plan(NPIP). I have argued for years that producers should belong
to the NPIP. The cost is miniscule. In return you are listed in the annual directory, usually published in February. Belonging
to NPIP indicates to your customers your birds are free of certain diseases. It indicates your commitment to producing quality
birds. Likewise, you should purchase birds only from NPIP certified producers.
